It's really impossible to say if he had a positive effect on getting Trump elected. Were there exit polls conducted on people who voted for Trump, where they were asked who influenced them to do so? It's presumptuous to assume Cerno had any real effect, with no scientific data on it other than his boasting that he had some sort of immeasurable effect.

I'm saying it doesn't matter about cernovich personally. Its irrelevant. Cernovich was part of a group of people promoting trump and anti Hillary sentiment during the campaign. If you want to say cernovich overstates the effect he had, fine. I agree. Saying he had no effect I disagree with.

I won't name drop any further than that, but some very wealthy, influential people were duped by that salesman's pitch and invested heavily into it. He took them for a ride, too.
