Does anyone have a good way to take your mind off of something?
Do something else
lift something heavy until you can't anymore
Music
With Lyrics
@MrDefault that does help a bit
earlier I was reading and it kinda helped
Lift weights
Jiu-Jitsu
@Gumbo - AZ Good idea. Hopefully my school gym opens up soon
pick an unrelated topic and write something about it, or draw something, or play something on an instrument if that’s your thing
like I took art lessons back in the day so every now again I’ll draw something just for the hell of it
it’s demands enough of your attention that you don’t worry about other stuff
Or keep thinking about it. I just let it flow until it stops.
@Jacob Fence your shower curtain with a meterstick. That’s what did until my stick broke
fence, like sword fight?
We literally have insta-thots in congress now <:sad:366743316475281408>
it’s / a c c e l e r a t i o n /
That what I did when I read BAP’s book
based
@Zilna Jestov Ya maybe it'll just go away after a while. My friend told me something really depressing and I've remained pretty calm but I just can't stop thinking about it.
or something about the future
It's not political related at all. Reading about politics actually calmed me down.
ah ok
Nothing about the future either. In fact, I've had some pretty good reasons to be optimistic about the future recently.
well, that’s good. the way I see it, it’s better to be optimistic about the future, even it doesn’t seem likely
(this doesn’t mean being unrealistic about challenges, of course)
ya I agree with that
ooof I just remembered something
I'm about to start reading the last chapter of Grey Johnson's book and apparently it's very white pilling
i heard this song on a british tv show and haven't been able to get it out of my head. English madrigal song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE_7aqtgquo
huh, that’s good. fun fact: I strategically left my copy of the Sam Francis book I ordered out in full view, and my dad picked it up. He said it was interesting
gotta do a little low-level friendly psyops every now and then 😎
I've thought of doing something like that
it’s at the point that he admits that the ‘65 immigration act was a mistake
he’s just too nice of a person to consider that race is an irreconcilable problem
I think it helps a lot to be nonchalant about our beliefs. Even if someone isn't actually going to pick up a book and read it, having something like "White Identity" casually laying around on a table does a lot to normalize our ideas.
Of course, make sure that whoever sees it isn't someone who would freak out. It could backfire. Don't lose your friends over this stuff.
of course.
oh that reminds me, I read an interesting paragraph today
do tell
