2019-01-09 03:44:48 UTC

You guys do a good job.

2019-01-09 03:45:07 UTC

I wish I could be more help

2019-01-09 03:45:35 UTC

@Eugene of Savoy building your own social captial by advancing in your career and building a family would be huge

2019-01-09 03:45:48 UTC

Are you not involved IRL? I enjoyed meeting you in Denver. @Eugene of Savoy

2019-01-09 03:45:58 UTC

we just need more good guys, sometimes that means more guys, sometimes that means more good-er @Eugene of Savoy

2019-01-09 03:47:02 UTC

(more goodness with the guys we already have, I mean)

2019-01-09 03:47:22 UTC

@Eugene of Savoy I'm not just sitting here shitposting. Most in this organization are not. Every day I am working to improve myself, I am in the process of starting a business, I am pursuing a relationship that will hopefully bring several kids into this world - lots of people are on a similar path. If we are to come out of this ahead (and I believe that we will) it will be because individuals took the slow and steady path to correcting the world, starting at home with themselves.

2019-01-09 03:48:07 UTC

Become the patriarch of your family - a leader in your chapter, the cornerstone of your church or community, people will gravitate to you when they otherwise would not.

2019-01-09 03:48:12 UTC

I really like this group, I just want to know how exactly we are going to improve our lives in the future. I'm sorry Ian, I deleted that myself

2019-01-09 03:48:29 UTC

I wondered where that went 😂

2019-01-09 03:48:50 UTC

It is easy to get into "bunker mentality." I struggle with it myself

2019-01-09 03:49:07 UTC

@Eugene of Savoy a lot of it is building our social capital. when you don't know what to do, work on yourself

2019-01-09 03:49:15 UTC

Isolation exacerbates bunkerism

2019-01-09 03:49:51 UTC

Connection leads one out of bunker

2019-01-09 03:51:15 UTC

Look, if you're asking for a ten step plan to save Evropans, you're in the wrong organization - heck, you're in the wrong reality. Life does not work that way. As the neo-reactionaries say, we need to **become worthy** of power, respect and capital. Are you? Are you working on it? Would you know what to do with power if it was handed to you? Do you have a network of friends who could help you run a society, assuming you were handed the keys? If not, why not?

2019-01-09 03:52:25 UTC

Agreed.

2019-01-09 03:53:27 UTC

I mean is anyone with power actually worthy in any sense other than having it? But otherwise I do very much agree. Building support networks and skills and families and communities is good for any future, mundane or outlandish.

2019-01-09 03:54:59 UTC

@Eugene of Savoy Look at what the left has done with power, compared to the right.

2019-01-09 03:55:09 UTC

oops i meant to tag @Wood-Ape - OK/MN

2019-01-09 03:55:40 UTC

It’s probably going to be a bumpy few decades and it’s going to be over a span of multiple generations. As painful as it is to be patient during this, the upside is the impact you can make in the next 50 years.

2019-01-09 03:55:45 UTC

They do a better job of uniting identitarians I believe

2019-01-09 03:56:39 UTC

I agree that the arch of history is long

2019-01-09 03:57:32 UTC

Whether that’s building a large family, building the network, setting an example for friends, family and offspring, starting a business or saving money for your offspring, you have a lot of years to build and contribute. Don’t focus so much on the day to day noise

2019-01-09 03:57:57 UTC

We could accelerate the process and use their weight against them so to speak

2019-01-09 03:58:27 UTC

That's how we got Bolsonero

2019-01-09 03:58:38 UTC

The left uses power effectively. "Worthy" has moral implications that doesn't seem applicable

2019-01-09 03:58:44 UTC

"accelerate the process" I'm always weary of supposed shortcuts, there's always hidden costs

2019-01-09 03:59:04 UTC

"Effectiveness", rather, seems more appropriate

2019-01-09 03:59:14 UTC

Look at the neo-Cons, a small conglomeration of ex-marxist Jews (mostly)... seeded the entire right wing for many many decades, forever changing us policy . Neocons wield power effectively. The left absolutely has wielded power effectively. They aren't worthy recipients of power, but they are effective and worthy of wielding it - because they wield it well. We need to learn how to do that.

2019-01-09 03:59:34 UTC

I mean worthy in a practical sense, not a moral sense.

2019-01-09 03:59:40 UTC

Looks like folks are talking smack about us https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N22Da8beQZo

2019-01-09 04:00:35 UTC

Agreed 100%. Skill and capacity and resources are what is needed for that, though. NrX have quasi-religious thinking in many respects (monarchy fetishism being one), the worthiness quip being another

2019-01-09 04:01:19 UTC

@apronandlace blessed image

2019-01-09 04:01:20 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN I happen to agree with much of it, though your assessment isn't wrong.

2019-01-09 04:01:24 UTC

Ah, okay. I hear what you're saying. I'd select a clearer word.

2019-01-09 04:02:16 UTC

When Trump goes down there will be an opportunity for one of us to step up. I don't thing that is a crazy concept

2019-01-09 04:02:39 UTC

I am a poseur though. Never read Moldbug.

2019-01-09 04:04:27 UTC

The NrX "worthiness" concept may be interpreted as the Chinese "Mandate of Heaven." You lose it when you no longer have it, you get it when you do.
