Those suits may not directly lead to a contengent election but they could reasonably lead to one if there is no ajudication in the near future on these claims and the legislatures choose to withold electors. If this becomes a contingent election all the losing party in the future has to do is have enough delegates in the house to overturn a election. Keep in mind not a shred of fraud was proven.
