FFS I fully expect this to be in the works for the United States. We all seem to be in lockstep.... The news of what is to occur is just released at different times.
(China not part of the lockstep -- they're further along in the surveillance state and passport apps red yellow green based on both health and social credit scores.)
But they seem to be to the world what California is to America. They're just half a decade ahead on the seemingly inevitable trajectory.

That's the thing about this virus. You can be young with a clear medical history and you get a big enough dose or it reacts with your DNA and it will cause serious illness and possibly death.
It would be good to know if, and how many co-morbidities he had. And his vitamin D level.
Its too private and against laws, but we are breaking everything we want in the name of infringing on rights, why not that?
The family should be able to give permission to release it because it would be helpful to know to actually make decisions and measure risk.
If you're young and healthy the odds are in your favor. But with everything there are statistical outliers. I know a person in ICU is under 40 and by all measures very healthy but he works in health care and likely got a big dose, viral load they call it.

Combined with several other factors, of course. But you'd have to imagine that if the public / government debate is regarding staying at home and lockdown measures. That has negative consequences that come with it. Including a more stationary existence which doesn't help.
The co-morbidities and age are the greater cause for emergency intervention being necessary, vitamin D studies has shown to also have a high correlation to outcome. I havemt read too much on it.
That's my biggest weakness. Blood sample showed it was at 7ng/mL

I spent more time outdoors this year than in any other year in recent memory. Most of its cycling in some form of another. Whether the road bike or mountain bike.
Would you argue the general population has? Given the new virtual setup?
It's hard to say. I do know that bicycle sales have gone through the roof. A lot of people are bicycling rather than taking public transportation.
