I highly doubt this. A missile requires more work than just a van. For example, you still need the van with its automated speakers, but now you need to launch a missile.

Who says we did not blow it up proactivly considering it was parked next a highly used "listening" hub. Video shows interesting evidence. Plus the color and brightness of the explosion is not like any thin I have ever seen. Looks like a very high temp burn. Look at the charred site. If the bomb was the true source it would have taken that building down. Period.
If it was a high heat ordinance destroying missle that impacted near it but far enough away from the building problem solved. Could also have been a type of emp device to take down the comms equipment permanently that would cause a problem and more fear.
