My dream for Canada is to annex it, turn it into a National park to study environmental reclamation of urban areas for a few hundred years, then use it as a massive nature reserve if we ever go interplanetary
Most our cities are near the US boarder anyhow, so you may as well keep em then just leave the rest as a park
