Yeah, door to door was terrible because nobody ever wanted popcorn.
But standing outside a grocery store for several hours at a time was even worse.
@Jacob I became an Eagle Scout in November 2016, only to see the organization abolish itself one year later. The current president who made all these rule changes has his signature on my Eagle Scout card.

There will be a bump from girls but it will taper off and not reach pre Mormon Departure levels
Girls have been in Cubs for a year already mostly due to single moms that want one stop babysitting shop.
None of the Official youtube videos concerning this have comments enabled, of course.
Also I think girls that cross over from cubs will have an even worse attrition rate
