Honestly, Washington gets a lot of crap, but the state as a whole isn't bad. We have metropolitan areas other than Seattle that are fairly red.
Yeah the thing is that Portland is the only large city Oregon has.
Olympia, Tacoma are larger than Oregon's second largest cities.
Spokane County is red and Spokane is the second biggest city in the state. I think Spokane, the city itself, is slightly blue, but the area around it is fairly red. Tri-Cities is a pretty big metropolitan area in Washington and I think it's actually fairly strongly red.

I'm reminded of a video I saw about the Volkisch community in Germany where the words "right wing extremists" & "was also done while a certain historical figure from the 1930-40s" was used 1400 times in 15 minutes.
This "German" blonde/blue Marxist mouthpiece, goes on about how the Volkisch people believe in fitness & traditional values & minding their own business & how it's "spreading secretly throughout Europe". It's kind of a bit of good press for them though.

I hope some day we can reclaim the term, since there's nothing inherently wrong with it and it's a pretty good descriptor from a literal standpoint

Anymore the press has accused folks etc of racist this,nationalist that, to where people are fed up and know they are full of crap,so its starting to turn in our favor
