Wrestling is a little uncommon in catholic countries, I've found. Probably an aversion to homo shit, so catholic countries usually have more boxing than grappling sports

i.e. mexico, ireland etc.

2020-12-11 13:48:36 UTC

i did judo that's pretty similar

2020-12-11 14:02:47 UTC

Very cool, do you still do it? I would have mentioned that too but I think it's even rarer than bjj or wrestling. Very cool sport though, wish I picked it up. Very not gay grappling art too

its pretty practical when you can put someone on the ground without really hurting them

2020-12-11 15:27:58 UTC

You've never had trouble putting on mass, but do you think it would have helped, even if marginally, to consciously add in extra calories to that end?

2020-12-11 15:30:33 UTC

Just drink olive oil

2020-12-11 16:37:24 UTC

I suppose if you were having trouble putting down the calories you need. Honestly don't know much about them though. I have a friend who went from beanpole to putting on a lot of mass and being fairly built after 12mths. He takes creatine pre and protein post and his diet is pretty varied but hearty, lots of carbs and protein

I don't know a huge amount about nutrition either tbh, just what I've picked up here and there and have noticed a positive change in myself. I naturally tend toward 16hr fast as well so not sure how that plays into things

I know what to eat now

2020-12-13 00:03:24 UTC

Spinach is great, I don't really taste it so I just use that instead of lettuce (which I don't taste either)

2020-12-13 00:03:31 UTC

I have it in almost everything

2020-12-13 01:39:39 UTC

If it's a German scientist saying it then you know it's probably true

2020-12-13 01:39:50 UTC

Unless if it is a political issue then it probably isn't

2020-12-13 02:33:30 UTC

"Some of the participants were given placebos, others were given ecdysterone capsules containing the equivalent of up to 4Β kilograms (or 8.8 pounds) of raw spinach a day.Β "

2020-12-13 02:34:41 UTC

"During the study, which was supported by the World Anti-Doping Authority (WADA), those taking theΒ supplement saw their physical strength increase three times as much as their placebo-taking counterparts."

2020-12-13 20:20:36 UTC

It's like creatine then

2020-12-13 20:21:13 UTC

It is found in natural supplements and in order to get enough of it to the point where it benefits you, you have to take an unnatural amount

2020-12-13 20:21:27 UTC

Which is terrible for your kidneys

2020-12-13 21:02:29 UTC

The Jewish bodybuilding organizations say to take 20g of creatine for the first week which is like eating 20 pounds of steak per day

2020-12-13 21:02:36 UTC

Which is terrible for your kidneys

2020-12-13 21:02:46 UTC

Then they say to take 5g to maintain that after the first week

2020-12-13 21:03:07 UTC

I'd imagine that taking that much ecdysterone is probably bad for you too
