Second would be my suggestion, may even clamp it under the table

2018-11-20 15:54:12 UTC

for critical applications better to spend a bit more and get quality items rather than risk breaking your other items

2018-11-20 15:54:15 UTC

But wouldn't recommend to people, who aren't sure what they're doing

2018-11-20 15:54:29 UTC

Yeah, better spend more on shit that breaks fast!

2018-11-20 15:54:37 UTC

I totally agree and support this cause!

2018-11-20 15:54:44 UTC

And while you're at it:

2018-11-20 15:54:44 UTC

what breaks fast?

2018-11-20 15:56:38 UTC

@Sdeck37 I could just lock it at 50%ish, seems max operating temp is around 133°C so by slowly cranking it until it gets there should work.

2018-11-20 15:58:29 UTC

A bit of math, mate
At 100% normal operating on 120V your 100V heater may get ~40% hotter than intended

2018-11-20 15:58:41 UTC

That's why i recommend 50%

2018-11-20 16:00:18 UTC

Please don't vid related

2018-11-20 16:00:39 UTC

Sounds like a good time tbh

I love the second you can see the cables slowly going to sleep before firing up

2018-11-20 16:03:28 UTC

Vid related

2018-11-20 16:04:21 UTC

why did she run off?

2018-11-20 16:04:32 UTC

could've just unplugged it the moment the smoke started coming out

2018-11-20 16:05:13 UTC

what did she do?

2018-11-20 16:05:36 UTC

You're wrong

2018-11-20 16:05:49 UTC

Correct acting is to kick out the fuse

2018-11-20 16:06:15 UTC

she bypassed a fuse?

2018-11-20 16:06:17 UTC

Never touch a cable which might be wrong plugged in

2018-11-20 16:06:45 UTC

No, the big fuses in your basement or wherever they are in your house

2018-11-20 16:07:19 UTC

I thought people moved onto circuit breakers

2018-11-20 16:07:56 UTC

@Sdeck37 you're wrong

2018-11-20 16:08:03 UTC

The correct action was to touch it
