I parked along the Madison river a little over a year ago. I opened the door of my truck and began to place one foot out, and saw diamond patterns on the ground and quickly pulled my foot back in and slammed the door. It was a rattlesnake, but luckily when I looked out the window I saw that it was dead.

no antivenom, but an average adult can walk off a rattlesnake bite. there may be some arthritis problems down the line though
