cemu is legit, its just sketchy, closed source,, extremely fast development. there is a high likelyhood they used stolen code, but thats hearsay until proven or disproven

i personally dont care, but from a legal standpoint, emulation is legal, emulation off the back of stolen code is morally dubious

2019-03-16 10:59:30 UTC

especially with donations

2019-03-16 10:59:48 UTC

in the real world we call that "productivity"

2019-03-16 11:00:10 UTC

if they dont get caught, ,yup.

2019-03-16 11:01:05 UTC

the trick is to get so rich before that you wont care paying the fine

2019-03-16 11:01:28 UTC

but i dont expect freetards to understand BUSINESS

2019-03-16 11:01:52 UTC

yeah if the ARE guilty, and get caught andjust release the source code its too far along to stop

2019-03-16 11:01:53 UTC

Yep

2019-03-16 11:02:03 UTC

but they wont get caught if there not stupid

2019-03-16 11:02:08 UTC

especially now that the wii u is dead

2019-03-16 11:06:07 UTC

is there any bets yet how long nintendo will support their latest shithardware

2019-03-16 11:06:13 UTC

switch?

2019-03-16 11:06:15 UTC

yes

2019-03-16 11:06:22 UTC

(didnt remember the name)

2019-03-16 11:06:33 UTC

well, if they release a switch HD, probably another few years

2019-03-16 11:06:52 UTC

after that switch DS ?

2019-03-16 11:06:54 UTC

>switch hhome, Switchbut not undockable >Switch HD, Switch but better hardware and 1080p screen

2019-03-16 11:07:15 UTC

honestly with nintendo its up in teh air

2019-03-16 11:07:27 UTC

have they even released hardware revision 2 yet?

2019-03-16 11:07:42 UTC

cuz og hardware is hacked on the hardware level and unblockable

2019-03-16 11:11:37 UTC

hopefully the good guys manage to that in upcoming generations too

2019-03-16 11:13:28 UTC

the oversite wasactually hilarous

2019-03-16 11:13:36 UTC

it wasat like the factory level of not locking something

2019-03-16 11:16:55 UTC

open debugger port ?

2019-03-16 11:17:57 UTC

not even that apparently

2019-03-16 11:18:00 UTC

``` Nvidia's entire line of Tegra X1 processors.
"By carefully constructing a USB control request, an attacker can leverage this vulnerability to copy the contents of an attacker-controlled buffer over the active execution stack, gaining control of the Boot and Power Management processor (BPMP) before any lock-outs or privilege reductions occur," ```
2019-03-16 11:19:44 UTC
soo pretty much ring-1 bug
2019-03-16 11:19:45 UTC
ouch
2019-03-16 11:21:54 UTC
ye
2019-03-16 11:22:22 UTC
not that it really matters to nintendo that much
2019-03-16 11:22:32 UTC
they make more profit from devices than games anyway :D
2019-03-16 11:22:39 UTC
oh yeah the switch will make a killing
2019-03-16 11:22:43 UTC
and that shit sure as hell boosted their sales
2019-03-16 11:22:48 UTC
and they wil just release patches that brick the console once in a while
2019-03-16 11:22:58 UTC
and nintedo makes a profit on every console
2019-03-16 11:23:32 UTC
and get sued to hell in certain countries these days
2019-03-16 11:24:08 UTC
but considering 300eur investment to "free" largeish new game library
2019-03-16 11:24:11 UTC
is tempting
