I know people say Witcher 3 is just "follow the red footsteps then fight a thing" missions but I really loved the writing and performances

plus I was stranded with no internet for a few weeks in Ireland

so I read all the books

made it punch in the gut emotional for me at least

I should get my shit together and just play it

it doesn't "get good" until red baron

after that it stays consistent

I recommend reading a synopsis of the books or the books themselves though

witcher 3 is the only one that refers back to that shit heavily
