I read it was mostly a three point light system, one bright one, one not so bright one to add texture, then one in front of you to light the backdrop

2016-07-08 01:51:19 UTC

but I mostly just need it for the items in my hands

2016-07-08 01:51:25 UTC

-ok snapped them off with a knife

2016-07-08 01:51:28 UTC

not separating me from any backdrop

2016-07-08 01:52:00 UTC

looks like i didnt cut off all of it

2016-07-08 01:52:26 UTC

honeslty there are bundles of great lighting set ups, you need one that suits your enviroment though so mess around with it

2016-07-08 01:53:04 UTC

I'm not sure I'll have enough memes to keep the channel going purely on chink shit anyway, got to look at my options and how I want to expand

2016-07-08 01:53:06 UTC

and do other stuff

2016-07-08 01:53:29 UTC

to keep reviewing chink shit I have to keep buying it so there's a limit as a neet how much I can do

2016-07-08 01:54:23 UTC

plus taking big risks on new memes

2016-07-08 01:55:12 UTC

oh shit

2016-07-08 01:55:14 UTC

a paras

2016-07-08 01:55:27 UTC

are you still out there stick?

2016-07-08 01:55:45 UTC

just checked my phone and I saw that there was a paras close enough for me to catch it from here

2016-07-08 01:56:25 UTC

three points of lighting, two diffused

2016-07-08 01:56:42 UTC

you can pretty much make a nice light set up using a few usb led's and a lamp

2016-07-08 01:57:01 UTC

that looks really nice

2016-07-08 01:58:32 UTC

makes it pop really nicely

2016-07-08 01:58:46 UTC

my mousemat makes a nice backdrop if filmed from above

2016-07-08 01:59:47 UTC

leather or wood might be nicer though

2016-07-08 01:59:53 UTC

not sure if this makes sense but it's rushed, the watch being the yellow shit in the middle

2016-07-08 01:59:57 UTC

play around with it

2016-07-08 02:00:19 UTC

yeah that's how I saw it demonstrated

2016-07-08 02:00:27 UTC

well remeber that anythgin you use as a backdrop may or may not work as a deflector of light

2016-07-08 02:00:42 UTC

having a black backdrop you need a light behind your object to make it pop out from the background

2016-07-08 02:01:11 UTC

yeah especially if the thing is black too

2016-07-08 02:01:11 UTC

having the camera above you just want to make sure that there's no shadows cast onto the object

2016-07-08 02:01:35 UTC

yes so having something without a diffuser behind the object will get that crisp light on the outline of the object

2016-07-08 02:02:02 UTC

and then a diffuser on the key

2016-07-08 02:02:34 UTC

Sheeit I'll have to rummage around

2016-07-08 02:02:37 UTC

and get some

2016-07-08 02:02:42 UTC

the bulbs are what's important

2016-07-08 02:02:43 UTC

right?

2016-07-08 02:02:51 UTC

>bulbs

2016-07-08 02:03:14 UTC

I was told to get pure white at different intensities

2016-07-08 02:03:39 UTC

i dont really know because i've not done small object photography or shooting, i only know that you need a decent light set up, how you achieve that si really up to you

2016-07-08 02:03:55 UTC

pure white will probably do it

2016-07-08 02:04:00 UTC

frosted bulbs would be good too

2016-07-08 02:04:20 UTC

experiment though

2016-07-08 02:04:42 UTC

i took that watch photo with a lamp and two USB led's one of them has stickytape on it to diffuse it
