Some of the police radios can't even speak to each other even if they are on the same frequencies

does it matter if you tune into a frequency if transmission is off?

I don't know the legalities yet

there's a ton of places around me I could tune into but I don't know if that would cause noise on the signal

alright this didn't work too well

It's bigger than I thought, pretty much VCR level

But i think you should only get it if you have use for it because someone who's into radio stuff may also see it and you buying it but not using it would really Rob them of something fun for them

I've only started getting into radio stuff now, been reading up on it and watching youtube videos

so someone more experienced would definitely get more out of it

I might return that amp and get a chink one instead
