I was watching some doc about fast food that's popping up in the Middle East and half the people eating in them were chubby/fat.

Happening in asia, and sadly Europe as well

The brilliant minds decided in the 80s to switch our focus to “low fat” which in practice became super high carb

50% of black adults are ovese, so once again if you remove blacks from their over representative nature in stats the obesity rate drops noticeably
