I'm really just using my Chromecast 2 for Netflix and Plex. It werks perfectly fine for that.

yeah I had this weird DRM issue where netflix would lag even with pretty good hardware

What I like the best is that there's no real interface on the Chromecast and everything is just done on the phone.
I can see why some people would dislike that, but I like it.

It's pretty nice though

Only thing which bothered me was the weather option on my chromecast

for some reason I couldnt find anything besides the C/F controls there, not how to set my fucking location

Using remotes for typing makes me die inside
