I'm assuming that once they're installed, I'll never have to touch a lamp switch inside my home, ever again
I was tempted to go cheap and get sound sensor ones, cause they're like 25% cheaper, typically
But I wouldn't want the entire fucking house to turn itself on when I step out for some water
i can imagine it's going to get annoying though
I have 1 sensor equipped lamp atm
And it's working great
this is a germaphobes dream
things people never have to touch
Supposedly
the things is, like if you have four lamps and you need them for proper lighting up a room
they go off then you have to flail a bit to make your lights turn on again
i dont know how they work
They sense movement in their surroundings
I assume through vibration
is there a minimum required movement?
So as long as you stay in the vicinity and at least breathe, they should stay on
okay
cool
I haven't experimented extensively, but that's the gist of it
They have a 30 second delay
oh sweet
stubbing your toe when you re enter a dark room
i think a clapper would be better
sound sensors
when you get up at night you have to clap
and everyone wakes up
I should order a single sound sensor and try it out
i'd probably do it just for the dickishness of it
even as a gift to someone
"here's a sound sensor light, anon"
"oh thanks this is really cool"
clapping at night
wakes them up when sleep because having to make noise
heh
that's evil
I have heard of really shitty Chink sensors that get set off through snoring, though
That would be a great gift
oh now i need to get one for my mate
he's a fucking terrible snorer
amazing
