like chinks say they are R9 290/970s etc

2016-08-09 11:51:56 UTC

but its just 560s or something

2016-08-09 11:52:03 UTC

and they change the software

2016-08-09 11:52:14 UTC

so it looks like its a 970 when you plug it in

2016-08-09 11:52:17 UTC

in speccy and shit

2016-08-09 11:52:21 UTC

when it isnt

2016-08-09 11:52:33 UTC

its pure chinkey, dont buy computer parts from chinks

2016-08-09 11:56:04 UTC

it's an ebay auction Mao

2016-08-09 11:56:06 UTC

from Texas

2016-08-09 11:56:36 UTC

mexicans arent better

2016-08-09 11:58:16 UTC

This is a nig nog who bought it off someone who "couldn't test if it was working" so they probably fucked up on an overclock and didnt know about the dual bios. Sold it as is, and this guy also didn't take the time to realize there's a little button to switch bios. It powers on, but doesn't display an image. I unfortunately can't think of any way to pry for information without giving it away and driving the price up.

2016-08-09 11:59:57 UTC

why not buy it and take the risk

2016-08-09 12:01:18 UTC

Its on auction and still has over a day left. I got it on my watch list for sure. I already pulled up a bios flash tutorial since I've never had to do one before.

2016-08-09 12:02:45 UTC

I will do that though if the price is right, comfy. Like an evga x58 sli mobo I got for 30$ untested. Worked, updated bios, then did a super simple mod to it. Now it's fully x5600 compatible.

2016-08-09 12:08:26 UTC

Used to see those evga boards dirt cheap all the time for a while. Wish I would have known and jumped on them. Could be churning out refurbed 6 core xeons systems left and right.

2016-08-09 12:35:45 UTC

tfw doing custom splashscreen on thinkpad bios flashtool actually damages the bios so it cant UEFI boot

2016-08-09 12:48:57 UTC

Don't think pads have enough room for an ssd and a hdd?

2016-08-09 13:23:15 UTC

T420 you can swap out the dvd drive for a second hard drive

2016-08-09 13:23:25 UTC

Same with elitebooks and latitudes

2016-08-09 13:28:19 UTC

cool

2016-08-09 13:29:11 UTC

Spiffy. Just get a small ssd for your os and core applications, then rice away. Need for a disc drive is minimal at best nowadays, and you can just get a cheap USB external.

2016-08-09 13:30:29 UTC

They might even make external enclosures for laptop disc drives. Never thought to look.

2016-08-09 13:35:31 UTC

disc drives are dead

2016-08-09 13:35:35 UTC

DDR3 RAM are dead

2016-08-09 13:35:37 UTC

HDDs are dead

2016-08-09 13:35:52 UTC

We are moving onto next gen tech

2016-08-09 13:36:00 UTC

business as usual

2016-08-09 13:36:28 UTC

did you know HDDs die to powerful magnets, and at high altitudes due to air pressure?

2016-08-09 13:36:33 UTC

But a SSD would survive

2016-08-09 13:38:19 UTC

Speaking of ddr3, I thought I seen lga 1151 motherboards where some were ddr3, and some were ddr4. What's that all about? I was assuming it was a clerical error.

2016-08-09 13:41:14 UTC

technically you dont need to have RAM which is faster speed than yoru CPU

2016-08-09 13:41:23 UTC

Its still, as its very cheap, worth to pick ddr3

2016-08-09 13:41:27 UTC

both mobos and bricks

2016-08-09 13:42:10 UTC

Not that I know that much in detail

2016-08-09 13:42:23 UTC

But I assume they released some skylakes which were powerful enough to need DDR4?

2016-08-09 14:13:48 UTC

so what can you do with this

2016-08-09 14:23:27 UTC

hang yoursel?

2016-08-09 14:23:37 UTC

steel wire makes it easier to snap neck

2016-08-09 14:23:48 UTC

but be careful as it might cut through your flesh, disgusting
