Rooting the phone in general will allow you to move most apps to the SD card. CM13 will give you full control.

Kit Kat was a giant pile of shit of an os. Feel lucky you probably got your phone after they fixed the SD card killing patch.

Or maybe it was isolated to primarily galaxy phones.

But yeah, if you root you can even use your SD card as added memory cache. Supposedly you can configure it manually through sdk, but I'm probably gonna be a lazy ass and just buy the app that does it.

@Deleted User SD as internal storage works for file browsing but it gets confused with app installs and I had to use another application to move my applications to SD because 6.1 kept prompting me to "free 31gb on the SD card by moving it to internal storage."
