1060 is superior to the 480 in terms of DX9-11 performance
yeah I can see that the 1060 is weaker than the 480
that's expected with Nvidia's dominance
hopefully it'll cope well enough although I know for a fact that the 480 will increase in performance over time
Nvidia just have far better tweaked drivers for DX9-11
That's been the case since a long while
while the 1060 will drop over time
Maybe next year
with the 570/580
I assume that AMD's GPUs will slowly improve and mature from now on
due to the dominance of DX12/Vulkan
besides, Nvidia cards sell pretty well used as well
