I'm skeptic about Xiaomi laptops
It's mixed bag until there is some real review out there.
Notebookcheck kind of review

nice lenovo
Must all Thinkpads be super ugly?
I bet the designers must be thinking: "Od people prefer this "retro" mix of thick and square:ish plastic design, better keep it that way"
well
I find them utilitarian
It's better than aluminum Apple is using
And sturdy
fucking oven stone whenever it heats up
Atleast the older ones i own
I dont own anything newer then xp era
Well there is tough Aluminum alloys as well
but Apple uses just meh quality shit
Its ok
Its nit metal its the plastic unibody
I have had retina macbook pro 15"
and retina macbook pro 13" 2014 mid
I need a t420
pro 15" became oven stone when you really stressed it
pro 13" stayed much cooler but then again no gpu and dual core only
I only got my macbook bc it was free lol
Ill never pay for a mac
I mean it never served me wrong
But idk
The only laptop ive ever owned with serious overheating issues was my studio 17
With a quadcore i7 and a discreet gpu that i forget the model number of
It was not overheating, don't get me wrong
it was just very uncomfy to touch
since aluminum unibody and 90C cpu
The plastic unibody didnt do that
But i never did anything worse then light compiling
Plastic is better material in a way, it doesn't (what is the word? conduct) heat so well
Looks less pretty tho
