Bro creative genes are inherited my dude
See like in Crusader Kings 2 the genius trait is pased down so the same applies here. If its percent is 25% for each child so we should be good hopefully.

Jawa that is brilliant
Finally another woke brotha arrives
Christopher Is pretty conservative with his dads work I also hope he has instilled that deep passion for it in his children
ehhh. CT did (could do?) nothing to prevent the mess that was tired-Jackson's Hobbit trilogy
Amazon put up $250M for the rights to it. I wonder how much “creative freedom” they’ve negotiated into that contract
I would guess "Most of it"
I would have permitted hobbit movies to be made after seeing lotr bro
Hindsight is 2020
Production was a disaster and Jackson probably kicks himself every day for it
2001-2003 LoTR films were the very best Hollywood could ever do, true. And we will not soon see their like again.
Nope we won’t. I’m glad we got them. Brilliant adaptations of the books.
I have a class with some freshmen and 9/10 have never hear of LOTR
Its all about Harry Potter
A Hayao Miyazaki "Silmarillion" could be as good. In a different way.
He hates the base tendencies of more popular anime, and always strives for humanity and nature in his work.
I watch all six movies every year around December. Got my gf to endure it with me last month for the first time. I always wondered if there would be a remake, and what it would be like. But seeing how there’s no Star Wars remake, it’s making me think there won’t be a LOTR one
Also, for any LOTR nerds like me, there’s a way to read the whole story in chronological order, which I’m about to do for the first time. Just bought the rest of the books. Check it out if you’d like. I’ll probably post this again in the Lit server
I don't think it could be much improved anyway.
I also watch em all yearly.
Yeah the way books are broken up into Frodo&Sam vs the Rest is a challenge
Thinking about starting my yearly read early
Normally I do it in the fall
Definitely try the chronological read if thAt sounds like something you’d be interested in
I never read the books, my mom told me the timelines are crazy long though, like when they're climbing Mordor, its multiple years in the book
I could be wrong about what she said, its been a while
It’s much longer in the books. The time between Frodo getting the ring and actually leaving the shire is like 17 years yeah
I like using this site for quick reference
Apparently American history from reconstruction to the modern day is now “climate change and white supremacy 102”
@Kingfish online course options available for non-credit? 🤔
So I have a professor that's an Indian lady right, but she's all about American folk lore and anti communist
Pretty cool haha I dig it
Dot or feather?
the anti-communist stuff seems like kind of a distraction
no one is seriously advocating for communism in the US
I mean, no one relevant
