i want to turn a computer monitor into a bedroom tv, suggestions?

2016-09-12 19:06:13 UTC

Do it well

2016-09-12 19:07:17 UTC

was thinking either a cheap android stick or a raspberry

2016-09-12 19:13:50 UTC

I mean you could do that. It would probably be pretty shit as a tv tho

2016-09-12 19:27:24 UTC

why?

2016-09-12 19:28:09 UTC

A rpi doesnt do h256 and therefore can barely push 1080p resolution playing back video

2016-09-12 19:30:02 UTC

i think the rpi 3 is more than capable of that with the exception of hevc 10bit etc

2016-09-12 19:34:08 UTC

maybe something like that is better for the purpose

2016-09-12 19:51:10 UTC

good night asscrackers <3

2016-09-12 20:19:47 UTC

You are probably better off just buying a chromecast unless you want to linux the fux out of your shit

2016-09-12 21:10:44 UTC

You just need to do this one simple trick

2016-09-12 21:11:50 UTC

All you need is cut and paste sys32 onto an SD card
