ill have to bookmark that
idk what you want out of life
I just want a job at this point
and a skill that would allow me to get jobs
but if it's just to live that's not as hard as people make it out to be, you just need to work mentally hard
you know how to win a maze
you work backwards
look at the jobs available around you, learn those skills.
if no jobs around, move.
go to a metro that has low living costs but close to high wage jobs
What I really need is to move to a low rent high gun freedom state
and get a job
idk what that is. maybe virginia someplace
i know the jobs are there. idk about freedom and low rent.
also freedom is... relative. long commute is a form of fucking slavery imho
i got no experience teaching
I need to live in a state that allows NFA
ban
basically I teach english or something
So I can get some SBRs and shit
nice
and they're like sure come on in
What country?
USA?
no, asia
ah
why don't you learn one topic really well and get into being an instructor for it professionally
esp since you're a sub
learn some newish tech like... Docker or saltstack or something
and become an instructor, make slides, learn a speech and a bunch of commands
that's a ton of $$$ since people who go to those are sponsored by their employers
it's like $2-3k a pop per student for maybe 8 hours of instruction
Can someone eli5 docker. I've been messing with it but don't really understand it
the teaching degree can open doors
And their explanation wasn't helping
i feel like it's on purpose
because the core tech isn't exactly mind-blowing, the abstraction is a way of hiding complexity
not like what they're doing isn't complicated, but it doesn't really help the "plan" to tell people what happens when a container starts or how that's facilitated.
so anyway, I'd love to be able to gift high school students or kids in general the amazing gift of knowledge and learning, but in my experience, there's a lack of maturity and the love of learning itself can't be taught, it has to be individually self-discovered
chinks seem to be really good at substituting that with some sort of individual cultural mandate which is why they're so good at being awesome students but they're fuck-all useless at learning things on their own
