I think Trump is focusing on the border wall as a security issue (as opposed to an immigration one or a symbolic one) so that he can argue it as a military defense concern for when an emergency declaration gets challenged in court

I don't think Trump is entirely the problem. The media is the problem. He can't get his message out unfiltered, and he can't even receive feedback unfiltered.

He's definitely the problem. His message unfiltered is still baseless platitudes to try to assuage his base. He is, and has been for his entire term, useless. His election, however, and the response it caused and is still causing, is what made him worth it.

He needs to play hard ball. The dems will have no issues forcing any and everything down our throats if they gain full power again. We should do the same.
