But I think that each people is suited to its own government, and that the natural inclination of the American as a separate and unique European people is the constitutional republic.

I'm pretty sympathetic to some ideas.

No system of government works with multiculturalism. None.

I would say our political system is pretty well dumpstered at this point.

Our government was *made* to avoid subversion though

there's a lot the founders couldn't foresee so it's not really their fault

They were good men, changing times require changing systems and precautions they could not have forseen.

The realist in me says: it happened it was subverted easier than a lot of countries therefore it was easier to subvert than other systems

I think Weimar had America pretty well beat in the subversion game for some time.

The US was partly an easier target due to the fact the "nation of immigrants" narrative is really strong here
