I'm not sure I'd call the movement of 2016 directionless. It had a very focused direction in Trump. It was scattered and disorganized, but it certainly knew what it wanted.
It put our people on the map for sure. White nationalism is a house hold name now
I mean for the long term. A lot of the point was just to meme a meme President into office for anti-establishment reasons. But over time, it grew into something else. Genuine support for Trump as something other than a meme to stick it to the establishment gained traction.
Humor was a great way to break through the ideological fence. And now we have even more people who are serious. Next time we’ll have the best of both worlds

My mom made me vote for Obama in 2008 when I was 19. Literally that and when I voted to trump are the only times I've ever voted
