What did you guys think of the interview, for those that listened? Feel free to critique and tell me what I could improve on

2019-02-10 23:23:52 UTC

I dont know if it was ptt but your voice was lagging in and out

2019-02-10 23:27:56 UTC

@Nemets I don't we got to that one. We got a lot of questions and were super pressed for time so there was a lot of good ones we couldn't get too. There was still a lot of interesting insight though.

2019-02-10 23:29:16 UTC

@nord I'm going to check on the audio. It seemed like he was hearing everything fine so it might have not been entirely on my end. But I don't know for sure.

2019-02-10 23:29:53 UTC

I'm about to re-listen to the whole thing so I can hear myself. I hope I wasn't cringy. 😳

2019-02-10 23:31:21 UTC

Is it gonna be released as a podcast? I didn't get to hear it earlier

2019-02-10 23:33:30 UTC

We're going to work out a way to let members who missed it hear it

2019-02-10 23:34:00 UTC

We also might do a partial public release

2019-02-10 23:34:08 UTC

All of this with approval, of course

2019-02-10 23:57:17 UTC

I hope you've all seen the whitepill from Spain 🇪🇸

Protesting the unelected government at Columbus square in Madrid

2019-02-11 00:05:39 UTC
2019-02-11 00:05:56 UTC

Have you got an article that can bring me up to speed on what's happening?

2019-02-11 00:06:03 UTC

I know next to nothing about what's going on there.

2019-02-11 00:15:59 UTC

@Papa Pizzagate the unelected president of Spain wanted to bring a mediator between the Spanish government and the regional government of Cataluña, instead of insisting that the regional government follow Spanish law.

2019-02-11 00:16:34 UTC

I don't have an article right now, just found about it from my dad who attended the demonstration

2019-02-11 00:17:07 UTC

Media said they were about 45,000 demonstrators... LOL

2019-02-11 00:17:08 UTC

wouldn't the identitarian thing to do be to just let Catalonia do their thing?

2019-02-11 00:18:22 UTC

@Jacob would the identitarian thing be letting California do its thing with sanctuary cities?

2019-02-11 00:18:47 UTC

@Dale Adams It is in the sense of self-determination, but the only reason the Catalans want independence is to take in more refugees.

2019-02-11 00:18:53 UTC

Same with Scotland.

2019-02-11 00:20:01 UTC

I mean if Californians were an actual ethnicity, then, sure, the identitarian thing would be to let them go their own way @Nick_Knight

2019-02-11 00:20:15 UTC

Catalans are not an ethnicity

2019-02-11 00:20:56 UTC

Montanans are an ethnicity

2019-02-11 00:21:45 UTC

fair enough, though I personally take the position that if a group of people wants to secede and do their own thing then that shouldn't really be anyone else's problem @Nick_Knight

2019-02-11 00:22:28 UTC

every person should have there own country

2019-02-11 00:22:35 UTC

The problem is that the majority of the Catalonian territory doesn't want to secede, mostly the people in Barcelona.

2019-02-11 00:23:27 UTC

seems like bringing in a mediator to make a deal would be the best decision

2019-02-11 00:23:42 UTC

rather than just having a central government impose their will

2019-02-11 00:23:59 UTC

Unfortunately, until the EU is dissolved, it will be a problem for the rest of Europe.

2019-02-11 00:24:22 UTC

So you would actually support California disobeying federal law?

2019-02-11 00:25:04 UTC

if it was white Californians doing it and not imported voters, then sure

2019-02-11 00:25:36 UTC

well, not disobeying, because that would affect all of us
but if they wanted to secede then they should go for it

2019-02-11 00:25:40 UTC

Just out of curiosity, while Catalonians are trying to secede, neither positions are truly anti immigrant, right?

2019-02-11 00:26:12 UTC

imagine all the electoral votes we'd get if we got rid of California

2019-02-11 00:26:21 UTC

guaranteed red for decades

2019-02-11 00:26:53 UTC

I guess we'll agree to disagree. Just keep in mind that Cataluña has the help and support from the media propaganda machine for a reason.

2019-02-11 00:27:24 UTC

A fractured Spain helps some interests.
