I had a Mi Band 1 and 2 and the battery lasted WELL over what the spec sheet said

yeah

its turned off by default and gives you like three warnings that turning it on reduces battery life

actually a very nice mod

i wish i had a before/after but i was doubtful to begin with but the noise reduction is night and day

also interestingly enough my bm-800 had two identical pcbs, one populated with circuitry and one not

not sure why they even bothered to place a blank pcb in there to begin with, i was thinking maybe it was for structural reasons but i don't think it needs reinforcement
