@onoderaSecurity Yeah it is slightly more powerful and has excellent Chrip support.

This is why you get the programming cable, so you can program it transmit/recieve on one of the many citizens bands that other regular walkie talkies use. So you don't need a license.

How much range can you get out of one of those things on the walkie band?
