I seem to remember that he also said something along the line of cars standing lines next to the road without fuel. Cant remember in which book or doc it was, but with eskom not getting enough diesel now, and also the fact that Tina Joemat Peterson sold off Petro SA reserves a few years ago, might be a matter of time until we see the fuel shortage taking place.
