idk if I should mention it on the server it might be too much information
You’re coming from an atheistic perspective though or pagan
I think you’re getting close to breaking rule 3 pls be careful
Oh no, a different perspective! 😱
@Jonaltright sorry but literally no Christians throughout all history understood their faith they way you seem to understand Christianity. Turn the other cheek was never historically interpreted to mean passivity of any kind by Christians in the past.
Yes but we’re not supposed to tear down other religions
Biological deterministic agnosticism leaning toward atheist
@Ryan - IN because it was us who controlled the narrative. We decided which verses to conveniently ignore, and kept the Bible out of the hands of the commoner entirely. Now our enemies inform the narrative, and remind us just what exactly the good book has to say. Instead of trying twist the words of the Quran, which would be much more difficult for them. I can't imagine them making a Scofield Quran. Ya gotta admit I have a point
Who else here enjoys colorized photos?
That’s just not true. You clearly haven’t read the writings of historical Christians. They did not “ignore” verses. Read the reformers, early church fathers, literally anyone who lived more than 150 yrs ago. Your perception is not inline with the historical reality
Here’s a naval crew of the USS Oregon from the late 1800’s
Look at those sharp young lads
Wonder what their backgrounds are and what they were doing the day that photo was taken
Gotta go guys take care!
Looks like they have juggling pins, boxing gloves, and weights in front of them
Maybe they were the ship’s entertainment
Who knows
@Jonaltright what you're saying sounds interesting
you should continue it on the religion server so you don't get in trouble here
Who here hyped for LOPF 2019!
What does LOPF stand for
“Lord of the Pretty Flowers”
Lol
It’s only the coolest conference of the year
Santa Jared *when*?
Uncle Jared, we already have
Has anyone sued them yet?
a city near where I used to live did
Everett Washington
Did it work?
idk but I'm sure there's a few news articles on it
I'll go check
huh apparently Washington State sued them too
and the City of Seattle
but Everett did it before them, since they have a huge drug problem in part of the city
sounds like it didn't work out, unless this is a different lawsuit
Any update on the IE lawsuit thing
