The flat horizon HAS to be a illusion as such, in a concave earth if you had a limited sight (as we do) we would perceive the horizon as a flat circle around us, there's a lot of research to be done on perception and how what we see is visually displaced whether that be by refraction, temp difference, density etc, or something ELSE

What we see isn't where it actually is and we can't see as fat as they tell us we can
