They claim that literally anything disrupts university operations and a free speech zone accomdates the intention of your expression

2017-09-21 05:06:32 UTC

They use this same process with fliers

2017-09-21 05:06:44 UTC

You have to get disributed material "approved"

2017-09-21 05:06:53 UTC

It's bueracratic censorship

2017-09-21 05:07:29 UTC

Obviously, they would just claim IE posters disrupts campus operations because nathan pops out of the posters and personally attacks minorities

The best paragraph from the Newsweek piece :

After a brief lull this summer, Identity Evropa is ramping up its recruiting arm with terrifying speed—and a sudden shift in strategy. Historically, the group’s fliers had images of Greek and Roman statues alongside vague phrases like, “Our future belongs to us” and “Let’s become great again.” But a few weeks ago, Identity Evropa unveiled a new recruiting strategy: posters with photos of founder Nathan Damigo and Evan Thomas, another Identity Evropa member—both of whom could pass for frat bros—talking into bullhorns above new slogans, including, “Our generation, our future, our last chance,” and “Action. Leadership. Identity.”

"White Supremacists who attacked Charlottesville"...

Responding with succint points to such an hyperbolic smear like that is highly important. The statement is an outright deliberate lie.

I always thought adding a human aspect with people on our posters would be a great first step. It shows that we aren't afraid of confrontation and it makes us more personable.

"I am confused about who are the real fascists. The new group Campus Antifascist Network seems to fit the definition more than Identity Evropa. "

2017-09-22 13:57:25 UTC

>"Indentify Evropa, which prefers to characterize itself as 'indentitarian," helped organize the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Va. in August that led to the killing of a counterprotestor."

2017-09-22 19:55:23 UTC

@PicBoy notice there are four white males in the entire crowd..

2017-09-22 19:55:56 UTC

2017-09-22 20:08:27 UTC

How many people in that protest actually know what this organization is about?

"White supremacist", like Richard said "you may as well call me a poo poo head". Such a useless word.

2017-09-23 03:24:37 UTC

"White supermacist" is the new "NAaawzi!!"

2017-09-23 03:30:22 UTC

The phrase is wearing thin

2017-09-23 03:36:47 UTC

I've noticed the same. they keep trying a new one to see if it sticks, to see if the latest round of propaganda will work better. racist, then nazi, now white supremacist. what's next?

2017-09-23 03:38:31 UTC

White person?

2017-09-23 03:39:28 UTC

unapologetic person of pallor

2017-09-23 03:42:13 UTC

They can't use that because the nogs couldn't say it. Maybe upop

2017-09-23 03:42:14 UTC

2017-09-23 03:44:26 UTC

We want these buzzwords to wear thin so they lose all meaning. If people get desensitized to the word nazi anytime the media calls one of our guys a nazi people will be skeptical, meaning more will listen to him. If the words lose their meaning to the sane moderates it means the word has lost its discrediting effect.
