the fact that she can actually acording to the bible see some truths that are actually happening now made me think that well that book has some things that we can apply now aswell..

You do realize darwin and hundreds of others can explain origin of species right? Its just that everything having a common ancestor is harder to explain. Darwin never claimed for a fact all species shared an evolutionary relationship

2019-08-10 21:00:47 UTC

Abiogenesis cant even be proven. So we never even get to evolution. Abiogenesis is impossible to of happened on earth. Nevermind evolution.

2019-08-10 23:22:56 UTC

Thats not valid. Life could have began for any reason including planting of life by aliens, god creating life through non scientific means, or it just existing since the beginning of time. None of that directly affects what could happen afterwards

2019-08-11 12:19:45 UTC

>planting of life by aliens
Who planted the life for those aliens?
>god creating life through non scientific means
Best possible explanation, the fact that we are born with reason and empathy just shows us that there is an intelligent design. By the standard evolutionary model, we shouldn't feel any empathy at all because it doesn't help us get resources needed to survive.

Modern day humans have killed God, there has never been such a high rate of atheism. I can't blame them because I was once in that phase who watched edgy atheists on youtube and thought God was full of bull shit. Everything we see induces us to feel that way, like the globe which tells you that you were basically an accident made by a speck of atoms at the right time. What are the odds that you are born a human with reasoning and empathy in a world where resources were so scarce back then.

Everything today tries to hide god away from us. I never mentioned religion but there will always be people who will quote the bilbe or quran and say how cruel god is, they do not represent God. God made human of such a beautiful precision, you don't have to be religious to believe in God yet schools all teaches us that if you want to believe in a God you will need to side with an abrahimic religion. Such a shame, the renaissance was truly gonna change humanity into a better version but the middle class sabotaged it and were too greedy. Christian view on man were pessimistic but renaissance was gonna rebirth man into a spectacular creature made by God.

Don't take the Bible literately and only use it as spiritual guidance, something so many atheists forget to do.

)Im ignoring the 2nd+ paragraph because they are off topic) You do realize that the theory is that prokaryotes first came around like that according to evolutionary theory and not humans. Saying it as a spark of atoms is a pretty radical exaggeration. The earliest life form found was dated to 3.5 million years. That is 1.04 billion years. Which is 1040 million years. Early humans have been around for maybe 7 million years. In others words if we take 3500-7 million we get it took 3483 million years to evolve. So no it was not a simple spark of atoms. As for the evolutionary benefit of emotions- k-selective species give offspring a direct advantage by having emotion for them because they are more likely to survive. Other emotions usually have evolutionary benefits as well but the benefit depends on the emotion mainly

and if you say depression weirdly enough I actually have evidence that its helpful in some ways. So don't say depression

Empathy helps us show care to our significant other which gives us a higher chance to reproduce (evolutionary standpoint). I believe in creation and evolution but you can disagree if you want :/

I suppose its not that bad because its coming from embryo cells which have complete telomere regions. Otherwise it would be terrible
