Yes don't let government or "scientists" mislead you. Good advise.

Flat earthers tell you to 'do your own research'. I say, do your own research, but actually do legitimate research. Don't watch a video and say 'well that makes sense' and begin to use those views as the standard to which you disprove other observations. A good example of flat earthers doing this is when Globebusters found that their gyroscope detected a 15 degree per hour drift - which proved a spinning earth. They immediately denied their proof and assumed it was caused by something else. This by definition is not science. They were biased in their experiment from this point onwards.

Yeah, science is all about making observations.

It should be encouraged to make your own observations, rather than relying on whatever someone else says.

I never, ever, trust articles that use the words, "Scientists say..." without citation or anything.
