^Good color. For anyone looking to take a short position ahead of that keep in mind you can already short bitcoins through margin trading, CFDs, or even just shorting ETNs. Used to work at a quant fund and glad to help a fellow goy out too

Maybe @London MA can answer that better but this isn't like a "pump and dump" scheme, it's just the introduction of a much more liquid way to short bitcoin. So probably not.
