DoD, as in Army, Marine, Air

2019-09-26 10:04:50 UTC

the US Defence budget this year alone is $693 billion dollars

2019-09-26 10:05:08 UTC

again, what defense?

2019-09-26 10:05:21 UTC

defense, offense however you like to call it

2019-09-26 10:05:27 UTC

and defense against who

2019-09-26 10:05:31 UTC

the money they spend on the army

2019-09-26 10:05:44 UTC

in case of US, more offence, you're right

2019-09-26 10:05:46 UTC

those are two definetly different concepts, defense and offense

2019-09-26 10:05:48 UTC

Military budget would be a better term

2019-09-26 10:06:06 UTC

the public who is waking up to government lies, critical thinkers

2019-09-26 10:06:09 UTC

It still falls under the “department of defence”

2019-09-26 10:07:44 UTC

Fact is <:nasalies:485141702403686403>

2019-09-26 10:08:02 UTC

2019-09-26 10:08:11 UTC

To also put those numbers in perspective, the departments of energy spend $27.9 billion in 2015. It isn’t odd for NASA to be spending that kind of money.

2019-09-26 10:08:33 UTC

@Chad kindly get bent moron.

**nae naed**

2019-09-26 10:10:08 UTC

I agree, decrease the budget of the DoD and increase it for NASA and DoE (for preventing Climate Change)

2019-09-26 10:10:49 UTC

it is when you consider mainly what they're doing, other than lying, is drowning rockets in the ocean

2019-09-26 10:11:20 UTC

If we increase NASA budget to 1 trillion we will finally have space exploration derp

2019-09-26 10:11:20 UTC

That’s speculation....

2019-09-26 10:11:49 UTC

NASA is relatively broke

2019-09-26 10:11:56 UTC

member' when NASA showed us the dark side of the moon with earth behind it?

2019-09-26 10:12:00 UTC

50 years of constant funding tho and nothing

2019-09-26 10:12:19 UTC

member' the astronaut picture with a tiny earth in the background?

2019-09-26 10:12:40 UTC

yes, all real. Even though I wasn't particularly alive back then

2019-09-26 10:12:40 UTC

You aside from a vast satellite network and data from other planets?

2019-09-26 10:12:45 UTC

what's more speculative? drowning rockets in the sea or rockets reaching 'space'?

2019-09-26 10:13:00 UTC

what's easier

2019-09-26 10:13:00 UTC

they are both the truth

2019-09-26 10:13:01 UTC

@chad46 please try an be more respectful in LOUNGE vc, cheers 🙂

2019-09-26 10:13:04 UTC

what's cheaper?

2019-09-26 10:13:06 UTC

member' when astronauts cant agree on whether or not they can see stars in space?

2019-09-26 10:13:06 UTC

Seeing as we use satellites every day....

2019-09-26 10:13:06 UTC

hhm

2019-09-26 10:13:07 UTC

compare 1962-1969 and 1969-2019 budget and you will see that they had plenty of opportunity to space travel

2019-09-26 10:13:29 UTC

and they did

2019-09-26 10:13:36 UTC

they to the moon ffs
