If you miss more than two orientations, please reach out to your coordinator so we can make other arrangements. While it is vital that you complete orientation as soon as possible, we're understanding if you have a legitimate excuse.

Additionally, an interview I did will be appearing on the Today Show later this week or early next week. There will also be a separate NBC article/video released online within a similar timeframe. As I've mentioned in the past, the interviews I did over the summer – which include these – were experiments from which we can determine whether or not media engagement is a fruitful avenue. Though many are, understandably, distrustful of the mainstream media, there have indeed been examples of positive media engagement in the past, e.g. our Showtime documentary and Nathan's Young Turks interview.

I'd like to remind you all that the guidelines are available in <#371705962224025610>. You are expected to adhere to them, so it's advised that you read them.

Other than that, I want to again encourage you all to stay active in your local chapters. Even something as seemingly mundane as showing up to meetups does indeed advance our cause and grow our organization, and it's something that virtually all of us can do with very minimal risk of doxing.

Columbus Day is fast approaching. If there are monuments to the pioneers and settlers to this continent near you or at a campus near you, we need you to flier around them. If you are in the Great Lakes region, and especially anywhere in Ohio, you should speak to @Virgil about participating in their upcoming regional action: Defend Columbus. We all have been waiting for so long for IE to do something well for this controversial day. Let’s make it happen.

Defend The Rockies is November 9-11, but the late bird registration date is October 25th. It’s in your interest to get squared away early, and I will see you there.

We recently filled a new position in IE. Our Pledge Coordinator, @Danimal876, will be assisting all <@&488531212437159936>s to make the graduation to full membership in a timely fashion and can conduct your Secondary Interview if a chapter Coordinator is not present near you. Thank you, Danimal!

I am seeing another thoughtful discussion about our Wikipedia page in <#481597551272001546>. Yes, the state of the page is still quite bad. Further, we nearly had the number of editors required to win disputes and make substantial edits.

The program takes a bit of patience. Mass editing our page, or any controversial page, will just result in it getting locked. Just starting a new account and going directly to make substantial changes on a controversial page could result in a ban. If you want to see the first and most common source on IE improved, you will have to follow our program developed by @Steve - NJ and @Prestor John to develop a little trust and credibility in the editorial community of Wikipedia and then win disputes led by @Steve - NJ.

If you have a few hours a week to work on this and want to see this situation improved, it falls to you.

Both of the videos constitute extremely significant victories for us for a number of reasons, which we'll discuss later tonight. But given how apoplectic the Left has been all morning, whining that we were given a puff piece and so forth, I think it's readily apparent that we came out on top. This proves what I've been saying for a while: Press engagement can absolutely be useful so long as it is done *skillfully*. This means being discerning with regard to the outlets we work with, what the journalists are allowed to film, and making sure that we don't give them any ammunition by behaving carelessly or incompetently.

Moreover, we have received more applications so far today – 40 and and counting – than we have during some weeks in the past few months. Our strategy works!

A more generic "Identitarians of xxy" is perfectly acceptable so long as you aren't publicly presenting as IE. Additionally having just one, and only one twitter page makes any "false flag" efforts by our opponents blatantly transparent.
