Ive always prefered the L85, but i rly enjoyed the ar33 when i started playing

L85 has sum pretty predictable recoil

i like how the l85 feels but the ar33 has the quicker ads tiume

My attenuator box was creating a 2ohm load and giving me a 6ohm output impedance before because it was wired wrong. I fixed it so now the amp is seeing an 8ohm load and has a 1.5ohm output impedance.

I have yet to try IEM memes, but now I probably can without the completely inexistent dynamics that I had before (because low ohm load dynamic drivers)

Also the attenuator when wired wrong was only attenuating 6.3dB and now it is 12.4dB like it should be, so lower noise floor. Greater dynamic range within voltage limits.

Haven’t tried HD600 on attenuator box since fixing. The lower OI should be really beneficial.

DAC is a Schiit Gungnir Multibit w/Gen 5 USB.

Pre-amp is a Denafrips Hestia active 60-step relay-switched attenuated class-a pre.

Amplifier is a Harman Kardon HK770, fully recapped (film caps where possible, higher voltage rating for better dielectric) and new channel open relays.

Headphones are HifiMan HE1000v1’s, Sennheiser HD600’s and some Koss memes (you wouldn’t guess how good Porta Pros can sound on a speaker amp <:wtflaughingemoji:701962590967824414>)
