Is there anything to read or watch that explains all the ins and outs of this server? I get notification sounds and can't figure out why and am wondering what else there is in here and what might be good channels to visit. I've only started really paying attention to Discord in the past week.

The server is all about permissions and settings to get it how you want it. Theres a learning curve but youll get there. Its worth the time it takes.... Ive met a lot of great people here and the information is nonstop.

I don't know if I want to post. I just don't understand yet the different channels and what discussions g on there. If I want to post pics of my Q cookies and cake (anon notable 10/29/18) is there a place for that?

Is there a fast way to find a numbered notification?

Numbered notification?

I get notifications I guess when someone messages me and I'm using the Discord desktop app and a number appears by the icon in the taskbar on my screen. I got one from MEE6 just now saying I've advanced to rank 2.

Okay gotcha. You can tweak your notification settings to cut down the number of notifications you get. Of course any time you get a direct message (like mee6 bot) youll get a notification but you can adjust the settings in the server.

If u click the cog wheel in the lower left corner

Then find Notifications

I turned them all on and then turned it back to mentions as it went crazy. I get pop-up notifications but they are too fast to read.

I also have gotten thrown into AFK for not responding or being active.. not sure what that is. I know I can get out but I don't understand what that is about.

Okay, if you go idle or inactive and youre in a voice channel youre automatically moved to AFK voice which is just away from keyboard

It just assumes if youre inactive youre not there

ok. I got into a voice channel by mistake.

All you have to do is click back on the voice room u want to be in

I see youre in the chapel voice room now

I guess I can be multiple places at once.

You can be in one voice room at a time and can surf the whole server while youre there

You dont leave the voice until you hit the hangup button
