“ Ex-Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos gets 14-day jail term” by C. Ryan Barber on The National Law Journal

A few things to note about this sentencing.

1. Papadopoulos was ONLY being charged with lying to the FBI. It was literally his only crime. Nothing else he did was illegal.

2. The max penalty for this crime is six months. The minimum is zero. Yes, zero.

3. The defense pushed for zero months, and the prosecution pushed for 6 months. The FBI claimed his “ lies negatively affected the FBI’s Russian investigation and prevented the FBI from effectively identifying and confronting witnesses in a timely fashion.” And because of this they pushed for the max sentence. The defense claimed he was a fool over his head that meant no harm, and was deeply remorseful.

4. The judge gave him a 14 day jail term. Which falls within the 0-6 months jail term for the crime. He didn’t give zero, because he wanted to show the world that lying to the FBI has consequences. The judge didn’t give him six, because he believed that Papadopoulos had sincere remorse.

It’s also in line with the Jail term Alexander Van Der Zwaan received for lying to the FBI. He got 30 days.

All the facts here BTFO any argument that the FBI went easy on him because he was “flipping and singing”
The FBI claimed the exact opposite, and wanted the harshest penalty possible.

This headline makes the false assumption that because Jones rubbed Rubio the wrong way, Republicans as a whole no longer wish to defend him from this censorship. The irony of this headline is the fact that Jones and Rubio's exchange occurred before Alex was even banned from Twitter (Alex got banned a day or two afterwards). Plus, Marco Rubio says he doesn't even know Alex Jones, so how could he possibly be among the Republicans defending Alex from social media censorship?

This is the assessment that was giving to President Trump in Jan 2017 concerning election meddling. The CIA , FBI and CIA contributed to this document. This is commonly used by proponents of the Trump Russia conspiracy theory. A few things of note.

1. It doesn’t implicate Trump or anybody in is campaign in any wrong doing.

2. It explicitly states that they did not “ make an assessment of the impact that Russian activities had on the outcome of the 2016 election “

3. They claim to all have “ High confidence “ that Russia made efforts to influence the election on the direct order of Putin.

4. They also concluded that Russia did it in an effort to help Trump. The CIA and FBI had “High confidence “ and the NSA had “ Moderate confidence “

5. This is the money shot. Under their “ Estimative language “ section they explain what the previous mentioned confidence levels mean. Even under the highest level of confidence, they admit that “ High Confidence in a judgment does not imply that the assessment is a fact or a certainty; such judgments might be wrong.” They go on to explain that Moderate Confidence means that the information is “ plausible but not of sufficient quality “

Nothing in this whole report is a fact, they admit it could all be wrong , and the NSA seems skeptical that Russia favored Trump in this influence campaign.

Business Insider, as well as the rest of the MSM, use a specific camera angle of Trump pumping his fists on 9/11 to portray him as being disrespectful to victims of 9/11. Other camera angles show that in fact Trump was approaching a fence full of military and (presumably) their families. He was pumping his fists in greeting. He was excited to see them and they were excited to see him. This has nothing to do with being disrespectful to 9/11 victims.
