i used to be a teacher

and i used to get bitched at for teaching history outside of "certain guidelines"

naturally i would continue to do so and only go "by the book" when i was being observed

my students always scored higher on the standardized tests here in NJ

at least for history which is what i was teaching for half the year

my students were in 11th grade and sure they are High School students but at least when they left my classes they actually learned something instead of just regurgitating crap

very happy to being back in the business world, teachers unions and all the faculty above the principal level were annoying AF

they dont know the first thing about teaching in a real classroom environment
