I miss being 14
2008 was a simpler time.
I remember all I used to do was dick around on my gen 1 Ipad and use the computer in my living room that had about 2 GB of ram and was full of viruses.
Holy shit, windows 7 did not come out until 2009, which reminds me that all I did was use windows XP, which pretty much everybody did since windows vista was hated.
Jesus, looking at simpler times is a fucking trip.

I used to play a lot of fallout 3 back in the day.
Like.... a lot.
As in I would just dick around in the world and cover the entire map looking for shit to do.
And that would be my day of gaming.
When I say back in the day, I am talking about playing games on my ATI 9800... Half Life 2, Farcry, etc...
Oh shit, back then, I really was not into gaming that much.
I would just mostly watch TV.

After then I would just play PS2 non stop with stuff like rachet and clank and spyro.
God damn, I think I still have windows 7 on my old laptop that I used like 5 years ago, I still have nightmares of that keyboard and screen falling apart the more I used them.
I'll never forget playing Max Payne at our kitchen computer while my mom would be making dinner... I can't believe she didn't give a fuck what I was playing at fucking 13
I will never forget getting games like just cause, which I looked at videos about on the internet in 240P resolution and thinking it was the most amazing thing ever.
...and if you're like me, you thought Wave Race 64 had the best water graphics ever
I don't recall playing N64, I don't think I ever got it, though I do have memories of playing wierd games on the PS1.
Like an FPS space shooter which had a weird CG intro, a game which I recall was a top down shooter and you played as like a teenage girl, and a fucking strange adaptation of space invaders which I think I broke 9/10 times.

Though with all honesty, those would be pretty impressive for the N64.

I also played a shit ton of tony hawk with my friends, like a rediculous amount, and we made rediculous courses that we made to see how high we could possibly get.
I think I exited the skybox a few times and was on the ground dying of laughter.
