I miss being 14

2017-07-06 06:30:32 UTC

2008 was a simpler time.

2017-07-06 06:31:14 UTC

I remember all I used to do was dick around on my gen 1 Ipad and use the computer in my living room that had about 2 GB of ram and was full of viruses.

2017-07-06 06:32:54 UTC

Holy shit, windows 7 did not come out until 2009, which reminds me that all I did was use windows XP, which pretty much everybody did since windows vista was hated.

2017-07-06 06:34:27 UTC

Jesus, looking at simpler times is a fucking trip.

IL2 Sturmovik

2017-07-06 06:36:17 UTC

That was my game back in the day

2017-07-06 06:36:56 UTC

I used to play a lot of fallout 3 back in the day.

2017-07-06 06:37:01 UTC

Like.... a lot.

2017-07-06 06:37:18 UTC

As in I would just dick around in the world and cover the entire map looking for shit to do.

2017-07-06 06:37:39 UTC

And that would be my day of gaming.

2017-07-06 06:37:51 UTC

When I say back in the day, I am talking about playing games on my ATI 9800... Half Life 2, Farcry, etc...

2017-07-06 06:38:11 UTC

Oh shit, back then, I really was not into gaming that much.

2017-07-06 06:38:19 UTC

I would just mostly watch TV.

2017-07-06 06:38:31 UTC

>windows 7 is eight years old

2017-07-06 06:38:33 UTC

I'm older then you... so thats fine

2017-07-06 06:38:38 UTC

Scuse me, just gonna kill myself now

2017-07-06 06:38:43 UTC

WHERE DOES THE TIME GO

2017-07-06 06:38:55 UTC

After then I would just play PS2 non stop with stuff like rachet and clank and spyro.

2017-07-06 06:39:16 UTC

@Wrathsalts We are now in the best timeline... so just let it flow

2017-07-06 06:40:28 UTC

God damn, I think I still have windows 7 on my old laptop that I used like 5 years ago, I still have nightmares of that keyboard and screen falling apart the more I used them.

2017-07-06 06:40:30 UTC

I'll never forget playing Max Payne at our kitchen computer while my mom would be making dinner... I can't believe she didn't give a fuck what I was playing at fucking 13

2017-07-06 06:41:19 UTC

I will never forget getting games like just cause, which I looked at videos about on the internet in 240P resolution and thinking it was the most amazing thing ever.

2017-07-06 06:41:52 UTC

...and if you're like me, you thought Wave Race 64 had the best water graphics ever

2017-07-06 06:42:39 UTC

I don't recall playing N64, I don't think I ever got it, though I do have memories of playing wierd games on the PS1.

2017-07-06 06:44:31 UTC

Like an FPS space shooter which had a weird CG intro, a game which I recall was a top down shooter and you played as like a teenage girl, and a fucking strange adaptation of space invaders which I think I broke 9/10 times.

2017-07-06 06:44:52 UTC

@Rez at Dorsia HOLY SHIT THOSE WAVE EFFECTS, THE ORANGE JUICE COLORED SEAS

2017-07-06 06:45:17 UTC

Though with all honesty, those would be pretty impressive for the N64.

2017-07-06 06:45:36 UTC

>1996

2017-07-06 06:45:58 UTC

I also played a shit ton of tony hawk with my friends, like a rediculous amount, and we made rediculous courses that we made to see how high we could possibly get.

2017-07-06 06:46:43 UTC

I think I exited the skybox a few times and was on the ground dying of laughter.

2017-07-06 06:47:34 UTC

I remember watching the new Battlestar Galactica on TV when it was new and airing

2017-07-06 06:47:39 UTC

I feel old

2017-07-06 06:47:56 UTC

@Rez at Dorsia Oh I mean games like tony hawks underground 1 and 2 which I thought were amazing.

2017-07-06 06:48:11 UTC

@Wrathsalts I am getting so many feels.

2017-07-06 06:49:31 UTC
