welcome ! What do you predict for the upcoming 2018 midterms ?

I'm hoping Democrats pick up enough seats to become an actual check for the system since those don't seem to be a thing atm.

As many as they can. Preferably in red states in hopes that start going purple/blue.

As often as Democrats kind of shoot them selves in the foot by driving out people really quickly or trying to appease those who never are going to vote for them regardless, I'd say they have a 50/50 chance of getting the House

I think the Dems have a decent chance of getting the house and virtually none of gaining the senate

Republicans might even gain in the Senate

Although I hope the Republicans get enough to ram whatever they want down the Democrats' throats

With the Senate only, the GOP will only be able to appoint more judges

Although, it's not like Republicans are doing anything with the legislative power they have now, so I don't think it will make much of a difference
