they just cut that entire part out of the video
🆙 | **Vox leveled up!**
and theyre not putting it on the yearbook like they usually do
Did the administration ask them to take off the shirts
I believe so, ill have to ask
they were like shirts that spelled out M A G A
just temporary throw out ones with big letters on them y'know
Yeah. See what evidence you can collect through statements and pics.
Go from there to your school board
Let them know you will be contacting local and national media about the incident unless they will resolve the issue and reinstate the images in the yearbook or whatever it was.
I'll help you write a letter once we get the facts
@Vox Be careful with images of other students, though. In some districts, taking a picture of another student, even for that purpose, is grounds for disciplinary action if they didn't consent to the picture.
If they posted it on instagram or snapchat, then it's completely fair game.
nah it aint posted
and i know some libs that participated in it that took pictures of me and post them on ig
so that shouldnt be a problem
If they took pictures of you, you could stir up some shit about that too if there's a regulation about it.
ill try to find one
thanks
My district is Santa Barbara Unified School District
But there's also a 9th circuit decision that said any clothing that could "provoke an altercation" could be instructed to be taken off
I agree, but they didnt tell that to students who wore fuck trump shirts, it shows an inconsistency and possible bias
That's absolute bias
or that
What position was the person in who told y'all to take them off?

Ah alright so i wont provide them with any evidence
@Vox the above can bury the admins in regards to political discrimination. Do your parents know about this?
yes
Are they upset?
yes
Get your friends' parents upset too.
alright ill try
Print out the liberal students' pictures/social media that includes you wearing that shirt if you can find it
You can present that as a direct violation of your privacy rights as a student of the district, and gross negligence of duty by the administrators to enforce existing district policies.
