@Rhodesiaboo I wonder if Michelle Obama's lunches affected Gen Z's political outlook

2018-01-24 03:17:54 UTC

wouldn't be hard to imagine that

2018-01-24 03:17:57 UTC

I don’t have a cafeteria at my school, rather we bring packed lunches

2018-01-24 03:18:07 UTC

Though we do go to the Supermarket to buy food

2018-01-24 03:18:17 UTC

Through the money our parents bring in

2018-01-24 03:19:03 UTC

when the kids come, either religious or homeschool for them

2018-01-24 03:19:19 UTC

I'm not sending them to that hellhole

2018-01-24 03:20:28 UTC

My classroom consists of A Jehovah’s Witness who has the Craziest Family tree, A Black Kid who likes to draw, Another white kid who Usually is quiet, And an Atheist (not the fedora tipping kind) who goes here in the morning and goes to an academy at 9:30

2018-01-24 03:21:15 UTC

tbh I think we should have the federal department of education abolished and just let the states handle it

2018-01-24 03:21:18 UTC

what do you cover in class, generally?

2018-01-24 03:21:37 UTC

aspies tend to excel very well in academics....if they're the type to care

2018-01-24 03:22:43 UTC

My teacher is An Ex-hippie who is Vegetarian but she doesn’t force it down our throats and is Politically Neutral. We are taught English, Biology, U.S History, Geometry, And That’s it

2018-01-24 03:23:01 UTC

only one teacher?

2018-01-24 03:23:10 UTC

We also have 2 Aids

2018-01-24 03:23:32 UTC

It’s 1 teacher per classroom

2018-01-24 03:23:45 UTC

public school teaches you the most worthless bullshit ever

2018-01-24 03:23:49 UTC

And we stay in the classroom except for Stuff like Woodshop or shopping

2018-01-24 03:24:26 UTC

shopping?

2018-01-24 03:24:39 UTC

@FLanon so fucking true

2018-01-24 03:24:41 UTC

We go shopping on Every other Monday

2018-01-24 03:24:43 UTC

For food

2018-01-24 03:24:47 UTC

For our lunches

2018-01-24 03:24:52 UTC

It’s really helpful

2018-01-24 03:24:54 UTC

All the things I learned while going to public schools were learned because I took the initiative to learn them

2018-01-24 03:25:09 UTC

helpful in what sense? To learn about nutrition?

2018-01-24 03:25:12 UTC

Most useful things I learned I did independently researching them

2018-01-24 03:25:18 UTC

Nutrition and how to spend money

2018-01-24 03:25:27 UTC

See, that's something

2018-01-24 03:25:31 UTC

I can't think of one useful thing I learned from the public school system

2018-01-24 03:25:46 UTC

aside from the fact that I shouldn't trust the government and mainstream society

2018-01-24 03:25:58 UTC

(and that's something I indirectly learned, not something they tried to teach me)

2018-01-24 03:26:07 UTC

On Tuesdays and Thursdays We run a Breakfast Shop where we sell Bagels, Toast, Coffee, Breakfast Bars, Hot Chocolate, And Tea

2018-01-24 03:26:16 UTC

mmmm, tasty

2018-01-24 03:26:23 UTC

Most of the subjects are garbage

2018-01-24 03:26:28 UTC

any plans for college @Rhodesiaboo ?

2018-01-24 03:26:35 UTC

you don't need college in this day and age

2018-01-24 03:26:39 UTC

(not that you ever really needed it)

2018-01-24 03:26:55 UTC

@Red Storm (in NYC) Business seems interesting. If I do go to college I’ll go to Hillsdale

2018-01-24 03:27:00 UTC

but even moreso with all the new opportunities in 2018 , you don't need college

2018-01-24 03:27:16 UTC

I would steer clear of college if you don't need to

2018-01-24 03:27:35 UTC

Unless you're getting full ride, I wouldn't debt-slave myself
