@Creating_Worlds well, let's say the PLANTS were the 1st sign of life and they made an atmosphere which is suitable for all the creatures here, but that doesn't mean others need the exact SAME atmosphere in order to live.

Well the moon isn't exactly a warm environment for plants

Plus you Need an atmosphere for life to grow

I Can understand, different atmospheres might make different life

But unless the life you're talking about thrives in acual space, then no, life can't be sustained on the surface of the moon

I think you underestimate the power of Nature and how adaptable it can be, I can easily see Giant Insects living in space. :3
